Last month I shared with you my goals for the New Year and my theme for 2018 which you can read here!
I divided my New Year goals into five categories, blogging, self-care, personal growth, health and adventure. These are the areas of my life which I would like to blossom in, which is also my theme for 2018. The idea behind a theme is to simply pick a word or two that will summarise your intentions and focus for the year. It can also be an alternative to setting goals or a resolution, but if you’re like me and you love to set goals then why not set a theme too!
Today I’m going to share with you my goals for February which will be a reflection of my overall goals for 2018.
I have a three blogging goals for February, they are:
- Change my blog theme: I would love to give Those Positive Thoughts a makeover by changing my blog theme. The main purpose behind this is to create a more detailed and welcoming homepage.
- Create a video: My January blogging goal was to create my very first video. In February I would like to create a second video for my most popular post. This post has over 32k shares (pinches self) and I think that many shares it deserves a video, wouldn’t you agree?
- 21 day self-love challenge: February is the month of love that’s why I will be creating a FREE 21 day self-love challenge. Subscribe now to stay updated for the launch!
Self-care is always a super easy and fun goal to give yourself but with busy schedules it can tend to be forgotten about. That’s why I like to make a conscious effort to practice self-care because when you look after yourself, everything else seems to fall into place.
This February I will be enjoying a spa weekend with my boyfriend. It’s not exactly a goal but it’s very fitting with my 2018 self-care goal of treating myself once a month!
As my personal growth goal for 2018 is to be a better cook, this month I want to learn some new recipes. Leave a comment below with some recipe ideas!
I have a personal training session at the gym next week which I hope will provide me with some new exercises to practice and give me a better understanding of which exercises work best for specific areas. Therefore my February goal is to practice what I learn from my PT session.
My final goal for 2018 is to simply have more adventures! My boyfriend and I will be enjoying a spa weekend in February, so I will use this as my adventure goal.
Have you set yourself any goals for the year or month?
