Sometimes we stumble off the path, we get a little lost and loose our inspiration along the way. If this is where you are right now or if you’ve found your light at the end of the tunnel but you’re scared in case you loose your inspiration again, then not to worry. At some more or another we will all find ourselves feeling uninspired, de-motivated and walking along a path which we don’t think is right for us.
When this happens there are a few tricks which I’ve learned which can pull you back on track and spark inspiration again.
What makes you light up?
My boyfriend tells me that every time I eat chocolate my face lights up. It’s a silly example but it’s true, chocolate really does make me light up.
Make a list of all the things which make you light up, think about what you love to do, what you’re passionate about and what makes you feel amazing. When your done with your list, get up and start doing them!

I’m obsessed with podcasts at the moment. I get so inspired when I listen to personal growth podcasts, they always fill me with new ideas, new ways of thinking and so much motivation afterwards. Listening to podcasts is such a simple, free and easy investment in your personal growth.

Create a vision board
Seeing your dreams everyday on your board will help bring them to life. It will release the drive inside of you which has been dying to get out. I was nineteen when I made my first vision board. It was so much fun to make and I actually managed to achieve most of the things on the board. Creating the vision board gave me a purpose and most importantly it inspired me.
Do something that scares you
It’s in the moments when you push the boundaries of your comfort zone that you grow the most. When you’re feeling uninspired this is actually your minds ways of telling you to do something new, to step out of your comfort zone and do something which excites you or maybe something that scares you.
Be with nature
Get off your phone, turn off Netflix and get outside. Turn your attention away from the social media world and back to the real world. Whether that’s by going for a run or doing yoga in the outdoors. Take some time to breathe, unwind and listen to your thoughts without any distractions.
I’ve always found inspiration when I’m not looking for it. By this I mean when I’m being spontaneous. When I don’t make a plan I have no expectations. Pick a place you want to visit and let the rest be a mystery, what will you discover? What will inspire you? When you don’t have a set plan and you don’t have any hopes of what you will find or do, you will find yourself feeling open minded and inspired.
Dress for the life you want
Do you feel good in what you wear? The way you dress can make a huge difference in how you feel, there is such a wide choice with women’s clothes and it’s easy to find something everyday which will make you feel amazing! When you feel good you will be a better mind set and open to new ideas and ready to be inspired by the world around you.
