Plan with me: February goals

I’ve always been a big believer in setting goals, I love having something positive to focus my time and energy on. The only thing which I need to remind myself when setting goals, is to not be so hard on myself when something doesn’t go as planned. Sometimes we don’t achieve the goal we set out to achieve, but by trying we grow in other ways.

In this post I’m going to share my goals for February 2020. P.S I’m using the Positivity Planner to stay on track with my monthly goals. You can grab your copy here.

In 2020 I’m going to focus on monthly goals:

  • Plan: Focus on what’s important
  • Goals: Set goals at the start of every month
  • Vision: Be creative and visualise the month ahead
  • Habits: Use a habit tracker to stay on track
  • Bucket list: Create a collection of monthly dreams
  • Reflect: Pause and reflect at the end of each month

If you want to join me and set yourself monthly goals, create monthly plans and blossom into the person you want to be. Then pick up your copy of the Positivity Planner here.

February plan and goals

Planning

Focus goal: Increase my monthly pageviews to 30,000. This is double the amount of pageviews I had in January. Do this my focusing on Pinterest traffic.

Well-being: Eat a balanced diet and add fruit or vegetables to your meals everyday. This is something which I should be doing everyday, but I don’t. When I eat healthy I feel happier and more energetic.

Happiness: Spend a weekend with Ash to celebrate our five year anniversary. We’re saving for our wedding later this year, so it will probably be a cheap little weekend somewhere, but I’m excited nonetheless.

More: Fresh food

Less: Junk food

Vision

Creating a monthly vision board is a great way to visualise your goals and get an extra boost of motivation. My vision board closely reflects my planning notes above. If you’re not keen on drawing, then you can you can fill your vision board up with inspiring words and quotes or stick in images from magazines or from Pinterest.

Habits

Creating new habits for yourself can introduce more positivity into your day-to-day and a great way to keep track of your habits is by using a habit tracker.

  • Make my bed every morning
  • Workout three times a week

Bucket list

Most bucket lists are created at the start of a New Year, but most bucket lists get forgotten about. That’s why I encourage you to write a monthly bucket list. A monthly list means you’re more likely to achieve everything on your list, it also means you will include smaller goals that you want to achieve. Here is my bucket list for February.

  1. Bake heart shaped cookies
  2. Romantic weekend away with Ash
  3. Bridesmaid dress shopping
  4. Afternoon tea with family
  5. Brunch with friends
  6. Offer a one week discount on the Positivity Planner
  7. Read a new book
  8. Increase my blog pageviews 30k
