The truth is, I love making lists, I will make a list for everything! Shopping lists, blog ideas, YouTube ideas, a list for my goals and of course a to-do list. Lists help me stay organised and help me prioritise the things I need to do as well as focus on the things which are important. They are a simple way to organise your mind and your day-to-day, you can write all of your ideas and your to-do’s onto your phone or your notebook. Without making lists I feel overwhelmed and stressed, lists help me organise my thoughts and helps me see that life isn’t as chaotic as I believed.
Now, I know what you’re thinking, surely writing 45 lists would make you feel even more overwhelmed? Well, you of course don’t need to write a list for each bullet point below, these are simply ideas. I’m also sharing below some of the benefits of making lists.
Lists can reduce stress
We have a lot of thoughts going on in our minds everyday and without getting those thoughts out of your mind and on top paper it can be extremely overwhelming and stressful. By creating creating lists you are freeing your mind of all those thoughts and allowing yourself to create order.
Lists help us prioritise
Creating lists can help you focus on what’s important and prioritise what you need to get done. When your mind if full of to-do’s, it can be difficult to know what you need to d first and what requires your urgent attention. When you create a list and have it all laid out in front of you, it makes it a lot easier to prioritise things.
Lists help us achieve our goals
By writing your goals out every so often you are more likely to achieve them, this is because by writing them down it becomes more real and you take more action towards them. Whether you write down your weekly, monthly or yearly goals, make a habit of writing them consistently for both your personal life and your business.

Which lists do you like to write when you feel a little overwhelmed?
Laura x
Writing lists is one of my favourite things to do. It’s something that will benefit me later on, yet it doesn’t feel daunting to do. It’s a nice, relaxing way to help organise my life and incredibly scattered thoughts! I might write a few of these tonight βΊοΈ
